At Hope, Dima provides occupational therapy services on-site at our Mississauga centre, supporting children who may experience challenges with:
- Fine motor skills – handwriting, grasp, using tools (scissors, cutlery), and classroom tasks
- Emotional regulation and self-regulation – helping children manage big feelings in calmer, more effective ways
- Sensory processing – supporting children who are over- or under-responsive to sound, touch, movement, and other sensory input, and creating practical sensory strategies
- Daily living skills – dressing, toileting, feeding, and building independence in everyday routines
- Feeding and mealtime participation – difficulties with textures, picky eating, and developing positive mealtime routines
Her approach is family-centred and functional, focusing on skills that make a meaningful difference in daily life.
