The children in Hope Autism Services Saturday ABA Therapy Group recently celebrated the excitement of the upcoming World Cup with a variety of soccer-themed activities. Together, they transformed the facility into a World Cup-inspired space, decorating with creative soccer-themed artwork and displays. The group also customized their own personalized jerseys, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and teamwork.
To bring the spirit of the game to life, participants took part in soccer games, and group-learning and skill-building activities. These activities provided opportunities to practice important skills such as following instructions, taking turns, working with peers, and engaging in cooperative play, all while staying active and having fun.
The celebration also included soccer trivia, where the children learned interesting facts about the sport and tested their knowledge. Through decorating, designing jerseys, playing soccer, and participating in trivia challenges, the group enjoyed a fun and engaging experience that helped build communication, social, and teamwork skills while creating lasting memories together.
